What happens when I press my Travel Buddy Button?
The sms alert will go to Travelbuddy and nominated volunteer South Africans who are willing to look after you while you are in South Africa. They will assess the situation and if need be mobilise the National Travelbuddy network.

When should I activate the button?
When ever you need emergency assistance.

Is there any person I can call to give me street wise advice?
On registration Travelbuddy will send to numbers to contact to give you good local street wise advice.

Where are the Travel Buddy situated?
They are situated all over South Africa. We are connected to networks of networks who are connected to every network in South Africa.

How much does it cost to get this service?
Travel Buddy is available to all tourists for free
This does not include air time. Airtime can be bought locally from any mobile store.

How long is this Travel Buddy membership valid for?
30 days. If you wish to extend this membership contact webmaster@travelbuddy.co.za
